Established in December 2000 by Dr. Teh Leok Hui, the clinic was founded with a mission to enhance smiles through high-quality orthodontic treatment. Initially serving residents of Desa Sri Hartamas and Mount Kiara, its reputation for excellence soon spread throughout the Klang Valley and beyond, attracting patients from across Malaysia.

Dr. Teh Leok Hui
Orthodontist
Dr Teh Leok Hui graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery from University Malaya. After graduation, she worked with the Ministry of Health of Malaysia, and then at Penang Adventist Hospital, as dental surgeon, before she left for Glasgow, UK to receive her specialist training in orthodontics. Dr Teh obtained her Master Degree in Medical Science (in Orthodontics) from University of Glasgow, and at the same time she passed the membership examinations in orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow (RCSPG), as well as of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS of Eng).
Following her return from the UK, Dr. Teh embarked on a career in academia as a lecturer at a local university. In December 2000, she established Teh Orthodontics, a specialized dental clinic renowned for its exceptional orthodontic treatments. With over three decades of clinical expertise, Dr. Teh has successfully addressed a wide spectrum of cases, from straightforward to highly complex, serving patients from across Malaysia.
Dr. Teh is a strong advocate for holistic health and seamlessly incorporates healthy lifestyle practices into her patient care. Outside of her practice, she embraces an active lifestyle, enjoying time in nature and dedicating herself to community service through local and international volunteer work.
Dr. Mike Kong Sheng Earn
Orthodontist
Dr. Mike Kong graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in dentistry from Penang International Dental College in 2011. He then served the Ministry of Health in the state of Pahang for 3 years in various primary clinics, undergoing specialist attachments and community services.
He then worked in a private practice under a specialist orthodontist in Kuala Lumpur. Dr Mike practiced simple braces and clear aligners treatment under the orthodontist’s mentorship.
Aware of the high expertise in the field of orthodontics, Dr Mike was inspired by his mentor, and decided to further pursue specialisation in this field. He underwent training in King’s College London for 3 years, with an added clinical attachment in the beautiful island of Malta, as part of his post-graduate programme. Dr Mike graduated with Distinction as an orthodontist specialist in 2020. He also passed the Membership exam in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeon of England.
He returned to Malaysia and worked as a visiting specialist in various clinics in Klang Valley as a visiting orthodontist. He was then recruited by Dr Teh L.H. to join Teh Orthodontics, where he incorporates the latest evidence-based orthodontic advances and technologies to improve the treatment outcome and patient experience.
Dr Mike is a member of professional associations, both locally and internationally, namely, the Malaysian Dental Association, Malaysian Association of Orthodontists, European Orthodontic Society, Faculty of Dental Surgery RCS Edinburgh and RCS England.
Dr Mike’s philosophy on treatment is “doing what’s needed, at the right time”. Patients are assured to get a personalized orthodontic treatment based on their needs, budget, and acceptability. His area of interests include clear aligners treatments, bone screw / TADs supported mechanics, alignment of impacted teeth and many more.
Dr. Stephanie Chong Mei Har
General Dentist
Dr Stephanie Chong graduated from Penang International Dental College in 2011 as her class’s valedictorian. Upon graduation, Dr. Stephanie worked as a dental Officer in the Ministry of Health, Malaysia Johor for 2.5 years before transferring back to Kuala Lumpur where her family is. During the period of 2.5 years, she did attachments with various specialist clinics including Restorative specialist clinic, Periodontal clinic, Oral and Maxillofacial, Pediatric Dental clinic and Orthodontic clinic.
After fulfilling her government service, she decided to pursue her career further,in a busy dental practice located in Bangsar where she was exposed to a variety of patients and oral health conditions.
Dr Stephanie is well known for her very approachable and friendly personality, resulting in strong patient confidence with her procedures. She believes that patient education and understanding of her procedures are key to her success. Most of her patients became long time friends up till now.
Dr Stephanie is also a member of the Malaysian Dental Association and Malaysia Association of Endodontics. She has keen interests in dental aesthetics, general dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation where she practices jointly with her Orthodontics and Prosthodontics fellow colleagues.
